How fast can I get a tradesperson in an emergency?

Emergency mode delivers up to 5 bids within 15–30 minutes from available pros nearby. The faster you describe the problem, the faster you get sorted.

Are AllSorted tradespeople verified?

Every professional is verified before they can bid: Gas Safe registration where applicable, NICEIC, DBS check, public liability insurance and valid photo ID. Approval typically takes 24–48 hours.

How is AllSorted different from Checkatrade or MyBuilder?

AllSorted uses real-time live bidding rather than lead-buying or directory listings. Tradespeople bid openly for your work with a countdown timer, you see prices side-by-side, and we never charge commission or lead fees. The whole experience happens in-app, not over endless phone callbacks.

Is the AllSorted app free?

Yes — the customer app is free to download and free to post jobs. There's no credit card required to get started, and you pay your chosen tradesperson directly.

How do I pay the tradesperson?

Payments go direct between you and your chosen tradesperson. AllSorted takes zero commission. Subscription payments for tradespeople on Pro or Elite plans are processed by Paddle.

Does AllSorted take commission?

Never. You keep 100% of every job you win. The only money we make from pros is via the optional Pro (£29/mo) or Elite (£59/mo) subscriptions. Commission is zero on every plan, including Free.

How do lead fees work?

They don't — because there are none. Unlike directories that charge per lead, AllSorted lets you bid on as many jobs as your plan allows with no per-lead fees.

Is AllSorted available outside the UK?

AllSorted is currently UK-only. Jobs are matched by postcode, prices are in GBP, and verification reflects UK industry standards.

Can I try Pro for free?

Yes — new users get a 7-day free trial of Pro so you can experience unlimited bids, the match score boost and full analytics before committing.

How long does verification take?

Most pros are approved within 24–48 hours. We check identity, trade certifications, insurance and run a DBS background screening before you can place your first bid.
