Gas Safe certificate.

Location data used to match you with nearby jobs.

To create and manage your professional account.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase: database hosting and user authentication.
Firebase: authentication, push notifications, and analytics.
Payment processor: secure processing of payment transactions.
Verification and identity checking services: to validate professional credentials, qualifications, and identity documents.

These third parties process data on our behalf under data processing agreements and are required to protect your data in accordance with applicable law.

5. Verification Document Security

Verification documents (Gas Safe certificates, DBS checks, insurance certificates, and government-issued ID) are stored securely using encryption at rest. Access to these documents is strictly limited to the AllSorted verification team. They are not shared with customers or other third parties except as required by law.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under the UK GDPR:

Contract: processing necessary to provide you with our services.
Legitimate interests: improving our app, preventing fraud, verifying professional credentials, and ensuring platform safety.
Consent: where you have given explicit consent, such as for marketing communications.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

Under the UK GDPR, you have the following rights:

8. Data Retention

Account data: retained while your account is active and for 12 months after account deletion.
Job data: anonymised after 24 months.
Verification documents: retained for 36 months after account deletion. This extended retention period is required to meet regulatory and legal obligations relating to professional qualifications and identity verification.

After the retention periods above, your data is either deleted or fully anonymised so that it can no longer be linked to you.

9. Cookies and Tracking

The Pro App uses essential cookies only for authentication and session management. Analytics data is collected via Firebase Analytics to help us understand app usage patterns and improve the service. You can opt out of analytics collection in your device settings.

10. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. Verification documents receive additional protection with restricted access limited to authorised verification staff.

11. Children's Privacy

The AllSorted Pro App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that data promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app and updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
